Transmetrorama

Student project for the final semester of my 3D art&animation bachelor's degree. I wanted to apply all the knowledge of environment art I learned through my 3 years at NAD-UQAC. Everything in there is done by me, expect the dust particles and some images for picture frames. This was a lot of work to do in a short time so I had to use kits and tillable textures everywhere I could. To that end I made a master shader I can easily generate variation, adjust the materials with and also use a trimsheet for normal, roughness and color information. I also made textures in Substance Designer with exposed nodes to change easily in unreal. More details here: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/2xPeVa.
While the point wasn't to learn anything new, I did learned a lot doing this, mostly in how the lighting and translucency works in unreal.

I want to thank my mentor, Michael Penta, for his valuable input and expertise trough the semester, and Kevin Lavigne, my project's director, for doing the best he could to make this thing a success and for being an awesome teacher.
